Lilian Hanna is a seasoned real estate and legal professional with management experience in all aspects of the investment process, including strategy, portfolio management and development. Robertson Properties Group enlisted Ms. Hanna as Vice President of Operations and Senior Counsel in 2015 to assist in the planning and execution of the firm’s management, development, acquisitions, dispositions, financing and leasing initiatives.
Prior to joining Robertson Properties, Ms. Hanna served as Managing Principal and Chief Legal Officer of a Los Angeles-based development firm where she was responsible for creating the organization’s strategic operating plans and managing all phases of the investment and financing process. Additionally, Ms. Hanna has served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for a large private real estate investment company. During her tenure, Ms. Hanna closed over $6 billion in real estate transactions; she led the negotiation and structuring of acquisitions and dispositions as well as the management of complex commercial, land, retail, Class A office assets in markets throughout the United States. Ms. Hanna also distinguished herself as a corporate attorney at the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP before focusing on real estate.
Ms. Hanna graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree and went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California (USC). In addition to her coursework at USC, Ms. Hanna was the Articles Editor for the Interdisciplinary Law Journal International. Following graduation, Ms. Hanna was admitted to the practice of law in California. Along with her other responsibilities, Ms. Hanna currently serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Living Beauty.
